Youtube video Inspired me to apply these lighting techniques...

Here are a few examples of photos i took inspired from the youtube video on lighting techniques: It was really hard to adjust the light and capture a gradient as it was taken in the dark and the only light source was a torch. 

Below is an example of the "fail photo shots". A s can be seen there is limited light and the picture appears dark with harsh shadows.
